
SalsaDancercise® is and eclectic form of exercise consisting of a
variety of fun-to-do body isolations and aerobic activity inspired by club
style dance movements --- particularly authentic dance styles of Latin America
--- and strength and flexibility from the art forms of yoga, aikido and
cardio-kickboxing. These are combined with exhilarating music and rhythms from
around the World, particularly from the Caribbean and Latin America.
Classes start with gentle
aerobic warm up followed by gentle stretches, then cardio vascular activity,
followed by warm down exercises. No previous experience is necessary, and you
are encouraged to go at a pace you personally feel comfortable with at all
times.
